About House House
House House is a design-led home goods brand co-founded by Ayesha and Amaya Mangaldas. We work directly with artisan communities across India to create art & objects for the home.
We're an early-stage team (launched July 2026), fast-moving and building something we care deeply about — and we're looking for our first hire.

The Role
We're looking for someone to work directly with the founders on operations. This role is hands-on and high-ownership from day one. We're looking for someone entrepreneurial who enjoys problem-solving and moving rapid.

This role begins with a paid 2-month trial phase, with the expectation of converting to full-time based on mutual fit. This role will be hybrid: primarily in-person at our Lower Parel office/warehouse, with flexibility to WFH as needed. Please expect to travel around the city to meet vendors.

What You'll Do

Domestic Shipping
Coordinate domestic shipping across India
Evaluate best shipping partners and rates for each type of product (note: a lot of our products are large and fragile)




Manage relationships with domestic courier/logistics partners

International Shipping
Coordinate international shipping
Evaluate best international shipping partners and get rates for each product
Handle documentation and customs requirements for international shipping

Order Fulfilment
Handle basic customer communication around order status and shipping tracking
Manage exceptions — delays, damage, lost packages

Packaging & Packing
Source and develop secondary & tertiary packaging for each SKU, balancing product safety, brand presentation, and cost
Create and maintain SOPs for how each product is packed
Manage the packer(s) — training, quality checks, day-to-day supervision

What's Next (As We Scale)
In the next 2–3 months, we expect this role will grow into:
Leading warehouse setup and order fulfilment
Leading inventory QC & management
Managing physical events & pop-ups
Potentially helping with supply chain management
