Role Description The Video Editor role at Swathinath Productions is a full-time, on-site position based in Trivandrum. The Video Editor will work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to assemble raw footage into polished, engaging content for multiple formats and platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and reviewing footage, editing video sequences, syncing audio, applying basic effects, and preparing final exports in required formats.



The role also involves collaborating on story flow, implementing color adjustments, incorporating graphics or motion elements, and maintaining brand and quality standards. The Video Editor is expected to manage timelines, follow project briefs, and provide creative input while respecting deadlines and feedback.
Qualifications
Solid skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual tone, consistency, and mood.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and branding.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar).
Good understanding of audio editing basics, file formats, aspect ratios, and delivery standards for web and broadcast.
