Qualifications
BSW, BA, or any bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.
Candidates with experience in the development or NGO sector will be given preference.
PUC candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience may also apply.
Reporting To: Elder Wellness Project Officer
Key Responsibilities
Mobilize senior citizens in rural communities for awareness sessions and Joyful Ageing Pathways programmes.
Build strong networks with elders, Gram Panchayats, Health Centres, and other community stakeholders.
Identify, mentor, and empower Vayomitra Volunteers and Hiriya Bandhus within the community.
Organize cultural events, training programmes, medical camps, and other activities for senior citizens.
Coordinate with local NGOs, government departments, and resource agencies to facilitate healthcare services.
Maintain accurate project documentation and submit timely reports.
