Job Title: PLM Consultant / PLM Solution Specialist/architect
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused PLM Consultant with experience in CIM Database, PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or similar PLM platforms. The consultant will be responsible for understanding customer business processes, configuring PLM solutions, managing workflows and permissions, and driving successful implementation and adoption of PLM systems.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate solid ownership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently manage customer engagements from requirements gathering through solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
PLM Consulting & Process Analysis
Understand customer business processes, engineering workflows, and product data management requirements.
Conduct workshops and gather functional requirements.
Recommend PLM best practices and process improvements.
Translate business requirements into PLM configurations and solutions.
PLM System Configuration
Configure and maintain CIM Database, Windchill, Teamcenter,



or equivalent PLM systems.
Configure object types, metadata, classifications, attributes, forms, and templates.
Design and maintain data models aligned with customer requirements.
Support system upgrades, migrations, and implementation activities.
Workflow & Change Management
Configure and optimize lifecycle and workflow processes.
Implement Engineering Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN) workflows.
Configure approval processes, notifications, escalations, and automation.
Troubleshoot workflow and process-related issues.
User & Security Administration
Configure user roles, groups, permissions, and access controls.
Maintain security models and governance standards.
Support user onboarding and system administration activities.
Customer Engagement & Support
Act as a trusted PLM advisor for customers.
Deliver training and user enablement sessions.
Create solution documentation and configuration guides.
