Role Description The Assistant Professor – EEE role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, conducting laboratory sessions, and assessing student performance through assignments, tests, and projects. The faculty member will guide student projects, mentor learners, and support curriculum development in alignment with academic and industry standards. Responsibilities also include engaging in research and publications, applying for funded projects, participating in departmental and institutional committees, and contributing to accreditation and quality assurance activities. The Assistant Professor is expected to maintain high skilled and ethical standards while fostering an inclusive and supportive academic environment.

Qualifications
Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution; Ph.D. in EEE or relevant field preferred.




Strong foundation in core EEE domains such as power systems, electrical machines, control systems, electronics, and embedded systems, with the ability to teach related theory and lab courses.
Demonstrated teaching aptitude, including skills in curriculum planning, classroom delivery, student assessment, and use of modern pedagogical and e-learning tools.
Research-oriented mindset with the ability to initiate and participate in research projects, publish in peer-reviewed journals/conferences, and contribute to sponsored research or consultancy.
Proficiency in relevant EEE software and tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, PLC/SCADA, circuit simulation packages) and willingness to adopt emerging technologies in teaching and research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners, provide academic mentoring, and collaborate effectively with colleagues
