Job Description – Accountant
Educational Institution, Alipore (Kolkata)
Position: Accountant
Location: Alipore, Kolkata
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Work Timings: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day‑to‑day accounting operations including fee collections, payroll, and vendor payments.
Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, and support audits.
Monitor budgets and assist in financial planning.
Maintain accurate records using Tally, Tally Prime, and MS Excel.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com or equivalent).




1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of Tally, Tally Prime, taxation, and related accounting practices.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
Candidates preferred from nearby locations like Judges court road, Alipore, New Alipore, Behala, Chetla, Sarat Bose Road & Bhawanipore
