Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Solution Architect to join a large-scale enterprise data transformation program. This role requires a seasoned architect who can quickly understand an existing, partially implemented data platform, assess its current maturity, identify architectural gaps, and define a transparent roadmap for future evolution.
The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership across Azure Synapse and Databricks-based platforms, working closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, governance teams, and enterprise architects to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned data solutions.
This is a hands-on architecture role requiring active participation in delivery, technical decision-making, migration planning, governance design,



and platform modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Assessment & Architecture Leadership
Rapidly assess and understand the current state of the enterprise data platform across all layers.
Analyze existing implementations, identify architectural gaps, and define improvement opportunities.
Establish and own the target-state architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.
Create architecture roadmaps supporting current delivery needs and long-term platform transformation.
Define architecture principles, standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks.
Solution Architecture & Platform Design
Design enterprise-scale data platform architectures from source ingestion through analytics and reporting.
Define scalable integration patterns, data flow architectures, and consumption strategies.
Establish architectural standards for batch, near real-time, and streaming data processing.
