Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns across multiple platforms. In this position, the Social Media Manager will create and curate engaging content, manage posting schedules, and monitor audience engagement and trends. The role includes collaborating with marketing and design teams to align social media activities with broader campaign goals and brand voice.



Day-to-day responsibilities also involve analyzing performance metrics, implementing social media optimization (SMO) best practices, responding to audience interactions, and preparing reports and insights for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Calendar Management
Develop and maintain monthly organic social media content calendars.
Plan content according to brand objectives, audience interests, campaigns and relevant trends.
Ensure a healthy mix of reels, static posts, carousels, stories and other relevant formats.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms.
2. Content Ideation & Scripting
Generate fresh, engaging and platform-relevant content ideas.
Write or oversee scripts for reels and short-form video content.
Adapt content ideas according to different brands, audiences and communication styles.
Stay updated with social media trends, formats, hooks and content styles.
