Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of post-qualification
experience to support litigation and assessment matters, and to manage day-to-day
statutory compliance under GST, Income Tax, and RBI/FEMA frameworks. The role requires
robust drafting and documentation discipline, the ability to liaise directly with tax and
regulatory authorities, and close coordination with the VP – Finance and the legal team on
notices, assessments, and appeals.

1. Litigation & Assessment Support
Assist in handling scrutiny assessments, reassessment proceedings, and notices under the Income Tax Act and GST law, including notices from the Investigation Wing / DGGI where applicable.
Prepare replies, submissions, adjournment letters, and supporting documentation for assessment and appellate proceedings (CIT(A), GSTAT, and equivalent forums).
Compile and index case records, evidence, and reconciliations required for hearings; coordinate with external counsel/consultants and accompany them for hearings as needed.
Track notice/order due dates,



maintain a litigation tracker (case status, forum, next action, timelines), and flag exposure to the VP – Finance.
Support drafting of appeals, rectification applications, and rebuttals with accurate factual and legal backing.

2. GST Compliance
Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR 9/9C) and reconcile with books and GSTR-2B/2A.
Manage GST refund applications, e-way bill compliance, and input tax credit reconciliation.
Respond to GST department queries, audits, and notices (ASMT, DRC series) within statutory timelines.

3. Income Tax Compliance
Prepare and review advance tax computations, TDS/TCS returns, and corporate income tax return filings.
Support tax audit (Form 3CD) documentation and coordinate with statutory/tax auditors.
Maintain lower/nil deduction certificate applications and Form 15CA/15CB coordination where relevant.

4. RBI / FEMA Compliance
Assist with FEM
