JOB TITLE: Head of Plant Operations Paints
LOCATION: Greater Kolkata, West Bengal

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
We are an established chemical & paint trading organization expanding into in-house paint manufacturing. We are establishing a state-of-the-art production facility and seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Leader to drive greenfield plant setup and daily production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Oversee plant installation, machinery layout, and commissioning of High-Speed Dispersers and mills.
• Manage batch production, shade matching, formulation adjustments, and quality control.
• Optimize raw material consumption, minimize batch rejections, and enforce strict yield standards.
• Supervise plant floor workforce, maintain safety standards, and manage daily production scheduling.
• Cross-Vertical Technical Support: Provide technical assistance on raw materials to the company’s chemical and paint trading division.
· Technical Documentation & Compliance:



Lead the development and maintenance of precise Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Specifications, and Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS) for all paint raw materials.
· Sourcing & Quality Alignment: Collaborate closely with the sourcing team to evaluate raw material grades, establish quality benchmarks, and verify supplier compliance for paint manufacturing inputs.

DESIRED PROFILE:
• Qualification: B.Sc. in Chemistry
• Experience: 15–20 years of hands-on experience in paint manufacturing • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and floor management capabilities.
