PCB Design & Power Electronics Engineer
Reports To: Founder / Program Lead

Location: Bhopal | Work Mode: Work From Office

Role Summary
We are looking for a PCB Design & Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop compact, lightweight PCBs for nano-drone applications. The role will own the board from schematic design to PCB layout, power/BMS design, bring-up, testing, and manufacturing readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Design schematics and PCB layouts for custom flight-controller and power boards using Altium, KiCad, or similar tools.
Design BMS, battery charging, protection, power distribution, and voltage regulation circuits.
Optimize PCB designs for size, weight, power consumption, and thermal performance.
Apply basic RF-aware PCB layout practices, including grounding, trace routing, impedance, and antenna keep-outs.
Conduct board bring-up, functional testing, debugging, and hardware validation using oscilloscopes, JTAG/SWD, etc.
Perform DFM reviews and prepare designs for prototyping and manufacturing.




Support battery/cell selection and basic battery safety testing.

Required Skills
Strong experience in PCB schematic capture and layout.
Valuable understanding of power electronics, regulators, battery charging, and protection circuits.
Hands-on experience with hardware debugging and board bring-up.
Experience with Altium, KiCad, or similar PCB design tools.
Basic understanding of RF-aware PCB layout.

Nice to Have
Experience with drones, UAVs, wearables, or compact consumer electronics.
Experience designing small form-factor, weight-constrained PCBs.
Exposure to RF/antenna layout and controlled-impedance routing.

Role Scope
This role will initially cover PCB Design + Power Electronics/BMS + basic RF-aware layout, reducing the immediate need for separate Power Electronics/Battery and RF Layout specialists.
