Site Engineer – Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Site Engineer to supervise construction and engineering activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating site execution, monitoring work progress, ensuring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities and project execution.
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and site workers.
Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required at the site.
Review drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical documents.
Track project progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
Ensure proper quality control and compliance with project specifications.
Identify and resolve site-related technical and execution issues.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams.




Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
Conduct site inspections and report deviations or delays to the Project Manager.
Maintain proper site documentation, records, measurements, and work reports.
Assist in planning and scheduling site activities to meet project deadlines.

Requirements
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
2–5 years of relevant site experience in construction, EPC, industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
Positive knowledge of site execution and construction practices.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering software.
Ability to work at project sites and coordinate with multiple teams.
Candidates with EPC / Oil & Gas / Industrial project experience will be preferred.
