Welcome to Plum, where we take a step towards building the most trusted & loved
insurance & healthcare provider for people & companies, one step at a time, one
person at a time. We got into this space when the founders, Saurabh & Abhishek,
felt that this industry was a unique combination of a large industry (100k Cr+
Premiums), growing fast (20%+ CAGR over past 20 years), where the customer
experience was not close to what we could deliver using technology.

Over the past 5 years, we have done what no one could expect to - innovate,
raise the customer experience bar while onboarding more than 4000 companies,
700,000 lives, 20 of India’s unicorns while delivering excellent value to our
customers (our NPS is more than double the industry average).

We are on a mission to provide the highest quality insurance and healthcare to
10 million lives by FY2030 through companies that care and are backed in our
mission by Tiger Global and Peak XV Partners.

About the team

Plum’s Account Managers operate with 4 core principles:-

We exist to disrupt the insurance industry by raising the bar on customer
experience.

* The insurance world has a lot of ‘hairy problems’ - over-complicated
systems, too much paperwork, low trust, too much fine print, too many
hiding features

* We want to be the company that is a friendly insurance & health partner
not just a service provider, who just takes over, who are super easy to
use and super smooth to work with

2. We will learn from our customers - We handle more diverse customers than you
can imagine and from them our AMs learn and become rock-stars. Our customers
range from Large Global Capability Centres, Fast Growing Start Ups, niche
enterprises like Aerospace-focused companies, etc.

3. We are a team which keeps trying to raise the bar in everything - from
quality of work, people growth to a culture of promoting from within

* All our current team leaders started off as ICs in the past 2-3 years and
are now leading businesses
