Role Description This is a full-time, on-site faculty position in Physiology and Anatomy, based at the Karaikal campus. The role involves delivering lectures, practical sessions,



and tutorials to undergraduate and/or postgraduate medical students in line with the prescribed curriculum. The faculty member will prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessment tools, and maintain accurate student records. Daily responsibilities also include guiding students in academic and clinical competencies, supervising laboratory work, and ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards. The role requires participation in academic committees, student mentoring, internal assessments, examinations, and contribution to departmental and institutional research and extension activities.
Qualifications
Relevant academic qualifications in Physiology and/or Anatomy (preferably MD/MS, DNB, or equivalent postgraduate degree from a recognized institution).
Strong foundation in human physiology and anatomy, with the ability to teach theoretical and practical components clearly and effectively.
