Role Overview: We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining backend systems using Python. The ideal candidate should have expertise in FastAPI or Flask and be capable of building scalable, high-performance applications.

Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers and product managers to develop new features.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code following best practices.
Optimization: Improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve backend issues efficiently.
Learning & Growth: Participate in code reviews and collaborate with senior developers for continuous improvement.
Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements.
AI-Augmented Development: Use AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate development, generate boilerplate, write tests, and speed up debugging — while applying sound engineering judgment to review, refine,



and own every line that ships.

Qualifications:
Required:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of backend development using Python with FastAPI or Flask.
Strong knowledge of Python and its backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask).
Understanding of asynchronous programming, REST APIs, and web services.
Knowledge of rate limiting, pagination, and different REST API authentication mechanisms is a must.
Experience integrating with third-party tools such as HubSpot, Zoho Books, or similar platforms, but not limited to these.
AI-Assisted Development: Comfortable working with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) as part of the contemporary development workflow — for code generation, refactoring, documentation, and test writing.
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
Experience with testing frameworks such as PyTest or
