Position Overview
We are looking for a Production Engineer – Press Shop with 4 to 6 years of experience in the Automotive Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved, optimizing machine utilization, improving productivity, and maintaining quality,



safety, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets as per the production plan.
Ensure timely recovery of production backlogs through effective planning, resource allocation, and manpower management.
Coordinate with PPC to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery of customer requirements.
Supervise press shop operations, ensuring optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and materials.
Perform and monitor die setting, die changeovers, and machine setup to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Coordinate with the Maintenance department for preventive maintenance and quick resolution of machine breakdowns.
Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, rejection, downtime, OEE, and machine efficiency, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, work instructions, SOP
