Director – School of Business and Commerce

Role Purpose
The Professor shall provide academic and intellectual leadership in the assigned discipline through excellence in teaching, research, innovation, student mentoring, industry engagement, and institutional development. The role is responsible for advancing the School's academic reputation, research productivity, industry relevance, and student outcomes while contributing to the University's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Academic Excellence
Deliver high-quality undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in the assigned specialization.
Design and update course content in line with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging business practices.
Employ cutting-edge pedagogical approaches, case-based learning,



simulations, technology-enabled teaching, and experiential learning methodologies.
Ensure achievement of course outcomes, program outcomes, and academic quality standards.

2. Research & Publications
Conduct impactful research and publish in reputed Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, and other recognized journals.
Lead interdisciplinary and industry-relevant research initiatives.
Contribute to research grants, consultancy projects, case writing, patents, and intellectual property creation.
Enhance the University's research visibility through publications, citations, and scholarly contributions.

3. Doctoral Guidance & Research Supervision
Supervise Ph.D. scholars and research projects.
Guide postgraduate dissertations, capstone projects, and student research activities.
Foster a culture of research excellence and academic inquiry within the School.
