JOB DESCRIPTION — EVENT MANAGER

Office of the Dean of Student Welfare (DSW)

Mangalam University, Sohna Road, Gurugram (Haryana)

Full-time, on campus (six-day week; flexibility required on event days)

Pan-university — all Schools, Departments, Clubs and Societies

The Engagement Manager will serve as the single point of ownership for university-level events, creative design and digital engagement under the Office of the Dean of Student Welfare. The role combines three capabilities in one skilled: end-to-end event coordination across all Schools of the University; high-quality design of creatives and presentations for institutional use; management of the University's student-facing social media presence; and sponsorship and revenue generation to make university events increasingly self-sustaining. The incumbent will work closely with the DSW team, School coordinators, student clubs and societies, the Student Council, and external vendors to deliver a vibrant, well-documented and well-publicised campus life.





University Events (approx. Plan, coordinate and execute pan-university events end to end — fests, cultural and technical events, Club Days, orientation/induction programmes, convocations, celebrations of national and commemorative days, and DSW-led initiatives.

Prepare event proposals, budgets, run-of-show schedules and post-event reports for approval of the Dean of Student Welfare.

Manage vendors for staging, sound, light, decor, printing and hospitality; Coordinate with Schools, faculty coordinators, club heads and the Student Council for participation, volunteers and logistics.

Ensure event documentation — photographs, videos, attendance and reports — is compiled and archived for institutional records and accreditation requirements.
