Job Title: Business Manager Location: AP & Telangana

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

To lead, strategize, and drive the overall sales operations for the assigned state, ensuring achievement of volume, value, distribution, and market share objectives for the biscuits portfolio. The role will focus on driving channel strategy, building a high-performance sales team, and ensuring flawless execution in the marketplace.

Sales Planning and Target Achievement:

Expand and strengthen the distribution network to increase market penetration and availability.

Drive numeric and weighted distribution growth, ensuring product availability across urban, semi-urban, and rural areas.

Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales In-Charges, and Sales Officers.

Build capability through coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews.

Ensure implementation of structured beat planning, market working norms, and productivity enhancement.





Ensure effective execution of trade promotions, visibility programs, and merchandising plans.

Work closely with Trade Marketing teams to implement consumer promotions and activations at the ground level.

Market Intelligence and Competition Tracking:

Financial Management:

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to company policies, systems, and reporting structures.

Generate regular sales MIS and market reports for review.

Graduate (mandatory), MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred).

Experience:

~10-15 years of total experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3-5 years of experience in leading a state or large zone.

~ Prior experience in managing General Trade and Rural Markets is essential.

~ Solid exposure to working in the biscuits/confectionery/foods/snacking sector preferred.
