About Spotonix
Spotonix is the agentic analyst for business teams. Instead of waiting in the analyst queue or trusting an LLM to improvise SQL, business users ask questions in plain English and get answers built from the definitions their team already approved — with the full plan shown before any query runs, and the accepted logic saved for reuse. We are founded by veterans of Looker, Apache Atlas, and Apache Falcon, backed by 8VC and the founding team of Looker, and advised by Bob Muglia (former CEO of Snowflake). We are live with design partners across AdTech, FinTech, and PaaS, and are building our go-to-market engine out of Bangalore.

The Role
We are hiring our first Account Executives in Bangalore to sell Spotonix into the US market. You will own the full cycle — from qualified prospect to closed-won — selling a technical, category-defining product to data and analytics leaders at mid-market and enterprise companies. This is an early, high-ownership seat — you will help shape our sales playbook, pricing conversations,



and ICP as we convert design partners into paying customers and build repeatable pipeline.

What You'll Do
Own the full sales cycle from qualified pipeline into closed revenue against a US-based quota, running discovery, demos, technical evaluations, and commercial negotiation.
Sell to a technical buyer. Run credible conversations with data leaders — Heads of Data, Analytics Engineering, BI, and Data Platform — plus the business stakeholders (RevOps, Finance, Ops) who feel the analyst-queue pain.
Run the "prove it on your data" motion. Structure a two-week proof-of-value on the customer's own data — align on the baseline, define success, and drive the evaluation to a decision.
Position against alternatives. Differentiate Spotonix against BI dashboards, text-to-SQL tools, and "just use ChatGPT" — articulating why a plausible query is not an approved answer.
