Role Description This full-time, on-site Cashier role at Candidata-te Comigo is based in Maharashtra, India. The Cashier is responsible for processing customer purchases accurately, handling cash, card, and digital payments, and issuing receipts while following established procedures. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, reconciling the cash drawer at shift end, and reporting any discrepancies promptly. The role also involves greeting customers, answering basic product or service questions, and directing customers to the appropriate team members when needed. The Cashier is expected to follow company policies, support loss-prevention efforts, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective service during busy periods.
Qualifications
Ability to handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately, with strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills,



with the ability to interact courteously and clearly with diverse customers.
Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency, including learning new tools or billing software as needed.
Organizational and time-management skills to manage queues, maintain documentation, and balance cash drawers efficiently.
Reliability and integrity, including adherence to financial procedures, company policies, and data privacy standards.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays as required.
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or front-desk cashier roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
Minimum high school education or equivalent; additional training in accounting, commerce, or office administration is a plus.
