Position: Quality Control Engineer

Division: Transformer Radiator Manufacturing

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to ensure that our transformer radiator products consistently meet company and customer quality standards. The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of welding, fabrication, dimensional inspection, leak/pressure testing, and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct stage-wise quality inspection of shearing, fin forming, welding, painting and assembly processes.
Check dimensions, tolerances, weld quality and surface finish as per drawings/specifications.
Inspect incoming steel sheets, tubes, headers, fasteners and other raw materials.
Verify material test certificates, specifications and dimensions.
Perform final inspection, including leak testing, pressure testing and dimensional verification.
Monitor seam, spot and arc welding quality and ensure compliance with WPS.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists,



quality logs and NCRs.
Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and reduction of rejection/rework.
Ensure proper calibration and control of Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Pressure Gauge and other measuring instruments.
Support ISO 9001:2015 audits, customer inspections, third-party inspections and quality-related customer queries.
Coordinate with Production, Welding, Design, Store and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues.
