About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Vice President – Sales to lead Restaurant Onboarding & Merchant Acquisition for our rapidly growing Ownly Food Delivery business.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for expanding our restaurant partner network, driving sales excellence, and managing large multi-layer field sales teams across multiple locations in India.

Key Responsibilities:




- Lead end-to-end restaurant onboarding and merchant acquisition across assigned geographies.
- Build, mentor, and lead large field sales teams comprising Regional Managers, Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Field Executives.
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding targets while maximizing sales productivity.
- Develop territory expansion strategies to accelerate market penetration.
- Monitor KPIs, sales funnel, conversion ratios, and merchant activation metrics.
- Recruit, coach, and retain high-performing sales talent across multiple locations.
- Partner with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure seamless merchant onboarding.
- Drive governance, process compliance, forecasting, MIS reporting, and leadership reviews.
- Identify business opportunities through market intelligence and data-driven insights.
