We are looking for a motivated Mobile App Engineer - Intern to join our growing engineering team. At Gnani.ai, you'll help build consumer-facing (B2C) mobile apps that bring AI-powered experiences directly to everyday users. The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate with a foundation in programming and a genuine interest in mobile app development, React Native, and cross-platform technologies. This internship offers close mentorship from senior engineers and real exposure to production-grade mobile development, API integrations, debugging, and AI-powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS, under the guidance of senior engineers
Support the team in building responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces based on product and design requirements
Help integrate REST APIs, databases, and third-party services into mobile app features
Participate in debugging, testing, and basic performance troubleshooting of assigned app features
Write clean,



well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews
Collaborate with backend, AI/ML, product, and design teams on assigned tasks and features
Learn and apply up-to-date mobile development tools, frameworks, and industry best practices
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies
Document your work, learnings, and contributions as part of internship deliverables

Required Skills & Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Basic understanding of Flutter and Dart
Basic to intermediate knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and React Native, through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships
Understanding of programming fundamentals, OOP, and basic data structures
Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
Basic understanding of Git/GitHub version control
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
Strong curios
