In this role you ll be leading and scaling our SKIDATA Hub in Bangalore - the centerpiece of SKIDATA s global software development footprint outside Austria With a strong focus on software engineering leadership you will guide a growing team of developers and technology experts in alignment with SKIDATA s Technology Leadership Team while also overseeing a smaller shared services team mainly financial services The role reports directly into SKIDATA s Vice President Technology and will after an onboarding phase also incorporate the Managing Director assignment for our Bangalore entity What You ll Do Lead Scale the Hub You mainly build and expand our software engineering and technology team delivering reliable high-quality solutions embedded in SKIDATA s global access solutions framework Engineering Leadership You shape technical direction as part of SKIDATA s Technology Leadership Team and act as a sparring partner for product and development leaders worldwide Drive agile DevOps and quality practices General Management You oversee financial planning compliance and reporting for the Bangalore entity You also ensure smooth integration of local support and shared service functions into global workflows Talent Culture Attract develop and retain top engineering talent in India Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous learning Stakeholder Engagement Act as the key interface to global leadership bridging between Austria India and the wider SKIDATA ASSA ABLOY network What You Bring Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field Proven leadership experience in software development engineering ideally in an international tech workplace Strong understanding of agile development DevOps and quality assurance General management skills - financial oversight compliance and cross-functional leadership Intercultural leadership experience ideally managing teams across Europe and India Excellent communication skills in English German is a plus b
