This position oversees recruitment to ensure a consistent supply of talented candidates and to keep the recruitment processsmooth and productive for all stakeholders This person is expected to understand the company s hiring needs develop talent acquisition strategies handle executive-level sourcing and compensation negotiations define position classifications oversee recruitment staff and define processes and best practices for the team The ideal candidate should have prior experience in recruitment and staff supervision with a knowledge of hiring practices and regulations This person is expected to perform their duties without supervision This position reports to the HR Director Responsibilities Develop recruitment strategies to source the right candidates and meet the company s objectives Develop schedules and position assignments follow up on progress and make changes as needed Understand position classifications and develop new ones based on the company s guidelines Develop job descriptions that are comprehensive and are consistent with the current guidelines Collaborate with internal teams and senior management to assess needs understand the nature of work and expectations for the open positions Establish connections with executive-level prospects and sell opportunities available to them while promoting the company s values and work culture Liaise with placements agencies and negotiate terms to assist with recruitment needs Coach staff on how to source candidates using databases internal referrals and other platforms Coach staff on how to grow and foster relationships with qualified active and passive candidates Advise and train recruiters and hiring managers on interviewing techniques and help make hiring decisions Supervise coordination and other recruitment tracking tasks to ensure the process is efficient and seamless tracking and a candidate s status and records are up to date Collaborate with PR in developing messages and tactics that would be relevant to
