This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Growth Product Marketer based in India.
This is a hands-on growth role focused on building and scaling a freemium-to-paid subscription engine for an AI-first education product.
You will own the customer journey from sign-up and activation through habitual usage, monetization, retention, and advocacy.
The role combines product marketing, experimentation, analytics, lifecycle engagement, and commercial thinking in a lean startup workplace.
You will design the mechanics that encourage users to upgrade, including paywalls, usage limits, pricing prompts, referral loops, and onboarding experiences.
You will also build the data and experimentation infrastructure needed to understand what drives conversion and continuously improve the funnel.
Working closely with engineering, AI-automation partners, and a US-based team, you will have significant autonomy and direct ownership of outcomes.

Accountabilities:
Own the end-to-end freemium-to-paid funnel, from user acquisition and sign-up through activation, habitual usage, paywall exposure, subscription, and advocacy.
Design and optimize monetization mechanics, including free-tier limits, usage metering, in-product paywalls, upgrade prompts, promotional offers, and administrator upgrade paths.
Build referral and virality mechanisms that encourage existing users to invite peers and generate qualified new users through product-led growth.
Own onboarding and activation experiences, determining the product flows, messaging, and prompts that help new users reach their first meaningful value moment quickly.
Establish reliable event tracking, funnel analytics, cohort analysis, and measurement infrastructure to ensure growth decisions are based on trustwo
