Job Description Summary
This role involves leading projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business. The role will provide prospect to contribute to the overall Engineering management of complex projects with scope for Marine VCS, DP, Power Systems, Drive Controls and other advanced applications provided by GE Power Conversion business. The selected candidate will be part of a strong engineering team and provide the technical leadership aligned with the India region.
This role also involves partnering with global P&Ls; for effective planning and execution of global projects; having close focus on quality of deliverables and in developing the best-in-class capability at India business across Marine segment.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading and coordinating technical aspects of larger projects with complex architecture that have huge impact on the business.
Produce designs, specifications and documentation for systems and supporting equipment, including generators, switchboards, transformers, converters, motors,



energy storage, cabling etc.
Execute design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
Drive lean methodology to provide optimum technical solutions for the projects.
To demonstrate domain expertise in Marine to provide consulting solutions to the lead engineers in projects as well as to the customers.
Support the leadership team in the development of technology road maps in response to future business opportunities and strategy, while providing direction and a domain process viewpoint to the Engineering teams.
To work closely with ITO team to provide oversight and reviews of deliverables in the proposal/bid phase.
To work closely with CTH team to analyze the technical proposals and identify the risks along with the mitigation actions without compromising on the customer
