Accountabilities:
Supervise procurement specialists and officers, providing guidance and ensuring procurement activities are completed efficiently and in line with established procedures.
Review and approve RFQs, RFPs, supplier quotations, evaluations, and other procurement documentation.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and other commercial conditions with suppliers to achieve competitive outcomes.
Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, approval requirements, delegation of authority, and applicable regulations.
Monitor supplier performance against agreed expectations and develop productive, strategic supplier relationships.
Manage procurement budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service levels.
