This role ensures seamless new engine model introduction, process optimization, capability enhancement, regulatory compliance, and cross functional coordination. The position directly contributes to achieving organizational goals across quality, cost, delivery, safety, and productivity.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

New Engine Model Introduction
Lead all manufacturing engineering activities for new engine introduction across assembly and machining operations.
Ensure process, equipment, tooling, and documentation readiness as per project milestones and product development phases.
Project Feasibility Study
Conduct feasibility assessments for recent processes, layout changes, tooling needs, and engineering change proposals.
Identify technical risks, recommend countermeasures, and support decision-making with robust data.
Quality Gate Deliverables
Ensure adherence to Quality Gate (QG) deliverables as per APQP and internal milestone plans.
Own documentation, process validation, capability trials, and build event readiness.
Critical Process Planning & Implementation
Plan, design,



validate, and standardize critical engine manufacturing processes such as machining, sub‑assembly, torquing, sealing, and testing.
Lead trials, capability studies, and introduction of new technologies, automation, and poka‑yoke systems.
Efficiency & Productivity Improvements
Drive continuous improvement, lean initiatives, ergonomic enhancements, and waste elimination activities.
Reduce cycle time, optimize process flow, and eliminate production bottlenecks.
Budget & Timeline Management
Lead budgeting for capital equipment, tooling, and non‑product investments.
Track project progress and ensure adherence to approved cost, schedule, and quality targets.
Field Issues Resolution
Investigate field issues related to engine performance that may originate from manufacturing processes.
Drive root cause analysis, implement CAPA, and revise process standards to prevent recurrence.
