About the Role
The Sales Manager – Cross Sell SME is responsible for acquiring SME customers through cross-sell initiatives across designated branches. This is a customer-facing role that involves understanding client needs, offering relevant banking solutions, and ensuring a seamless service experience. The role also includes catchment mapping, gathering customer feedback, and identifying new business opportunities. The incumbent will play a key part in driving client acquisition, deepening relationships, and maximizing customer lifetime value to support broader organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Acquire SME customers through cross-sell efforts in the identified segment.
Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisition by analyzing transaction banking needs.
Provide regular feedback to Relationship Managers (RMs) regarding customer opportunities and requirements.
Ensure adherence to sales norms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as defined by the organization.
Maintain strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
Ensure high-quality sourcing aligned with the bank’s standards.
Secondary Responsibilities
Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.
Promote automation and digital enablement to holistically meet customer needs.
Attract and retain top-tier talent to support the bank’s growth objectives.
What We Are Looking For
Education
Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution.
Experience
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in banking or financial services.
Skills and Attributes
Robust customer engagement and relationship-building skills
Ability to understand and analyze customer banking needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and compliance orientation
Self-motivated with a results-driven approac
