Senior Buyer — Procurement Operations

WHO WE ARE

Buying Simplified is a US-headquartered procurement and finance operations firm. We run the buying function for companies whose spend is growing faster than their teams — biotech and pharma, medical devices, semiconductor, technology, and business services.
We are not a staffing company and we are not a consultancy that writes a report and leaves. We own the work. Purchase requisitions, sourcing events, supplier negotiations, contract administration, PO management, vendor onboarding, catalogue and spend data — running inside our clients' own systems, to their own policies, as if we were their team. Clients keep us for years, often through funding rounds, ERP migrations, and IPOs.
We also build our own AI. Our GenieWorks platform, built on Claude and AWS,



sits on top of the work we deliver — sourcing intelligence, contract analysis, spend classification, invoice automation. You will use it every day, and what you tell us about it changes how it gets built.

THE ROLE

We are hiring Senior Buyers. This is a hands-on buying role with real ownership. You will be the buyer for one or two US client accounts, working directly with their stakeholders — engineering, R&D;, lab operations, IT, facilities, marketing — to convert demand into sourced, negotiated, compliant purchases. You will run your own RFQs. You will negotiate your own supplier terms. You will be the person a client's requester messages when they need something bought properly and quickly.
