Primary Responsibilities

Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Palo Alto Networks firewall, ensuring robust configuration, policy enforcement, and threat prevention
Utilize advanced security monitoring tools such as AlgoSec and Firemon to conduct audits, assess rule effectiveness, and validate compliance
Report and review compliance status, guiding remediation actions and aligning with regulatory and internal security standards
Apply AI-driven analytics to detect anomalies, prioritize threats,



and automate incident response workflows for enhanced data protection
Assess the severity and complexity of security issues-individually or collaboratively-to safeguard proprietary, personal, and privileged electronic data
Collaborate with directors, managers, and technical teams to mitigate security risks and ensure alignment with enterprise security strategy
Promote the integration of emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to strengthen security posture and reduce operational risks
Mentor and coach cybersecurity analysts, providing expertise in incident response, threat hunting, and resolution methodologies enhanced by AI tools
Evaluate and recommend new security products, maintaining awareness of innovations from application-level to enterprise-scale, including AI-powered solutions
