About Business line/Function: Arval is car renting company with Services, for skilled entities and more recently, opened to retail market. Serving 30 countries with the goal of being the best in class both for customer satisfaction and innovation (Partnership, new technologies, etc.)

Arval IT is the IT department of the company. “Data & AI” Tribe oversees developing and maintaining all the IT assets in relationship with Data activity from the company.

Position Purpose: Java Full Stack Developer

The Full stack java developer is a member of the development team who is responsible for the code of applications in each product.

They oversee or carry out the design and production of quality software solutions in accordance with the best practices (maintainable, secure, documented, scalable, testable and in line with the business line’s needs).

As a Java Full Stack Developer, they will be responsible for designing, developing,



and maintaining the applications using Java and Angular for both internal and external users.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional IT and Business teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate needs to be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, Oracle PL/SQL, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing for high performance, scalable applications

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Participate to all the Agile ceremonies of the squad (Dailys, Sprint plannings, backlog refinements, reviews, etc…)
Communicate ASAP on the blocking points
Develop the need for the squad/product
Delivery of solutions (predominantly code) to a high standard in line with requirements, measured by minimal defects
Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and innovation

Contributing Responsibilities

Accountable to deliver the amount of Jira tickets assigned to the developer during a sprint
