ROLE PURPOSE
Take primary ownership of legal matters for the property-development business, with particular responsibility for ensuring that property sales transactions are properly documented, coordinated and completed. During the first six months, the immediate priority is to establish control over the legal process for the company's active property sales while continuing to oversee contracts, compliance and legal risk across the India businesses.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTED OUTCOMES
• During the first six months, oversee the end-to-end legal process for active property sales, from booking and buyer KYC through agreement execution, payment-stage documentation, registration and handover records.
• Create and maintain standard sales-transaction checklists, approved templates and a live transaction tracker, coordinating closely with sales, finance, buyers, advocates and registration authorities.
• Ensure property legal work is completed correctly, including title and landowner documentation, agreements for sale, sale deeds, RERA records, approvals,



registrations and external advocate follow-up.
• Draft, review and control commercial agreements, NDAs, vendor and service contracts, leases and standard legal templates across the group businesses.
• Coordinate Companies Act, ROC and company-secretarial actions with the appointed Company Secretary, maintaining statutory calendars and evidence of completion.
• Maintain central trackers for property transactions, contracts, licences, notices, disputes and compliance actions, and provide management with transparent risk and closure updates.

Requirements

• LL.B. from a recognised institution; State Bar enrolment is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years of direct property transaction, conveyancing or real-estate documentation work.
