MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 15 Years
Key Responsibilities
 Lead and manage end-to-end production operations to achieve production targets
while ensuring product quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time
customer deliveries.
 Plan and optimize manpower, machinery, materials, and other manufacturing
resources to maximize productivity, equipment utilization, and operational
efficiency.
 Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, SOPs, statutory regulations, and all applicable
quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen,
TPM, and other operational excellence practices to reduce waste, improve yields,
and lower manufacturing costs.
 Monitor production performance through key operational metrics, analyze
production data, and implement corrective and preventive actions to achieve
business objectives.
 Collaborate closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores,
Purchase, Supply Chain, and R&D; teams to ensure uninterrupted production and

timely resolution of operational issues.
 Ensure accurate production documentation, SAP transactions, production MIS,
and investigation of deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformances with
timely implementation of CAPA.




 Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination to maximize
equipment availability, minimize downtime, and support continuous production
operations.
 Develop, coach, and mentor production teams by driving performance
management, capability building, employee engagement, succession planning,
and a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
 Represent the Production function during internal, customer, and regulatory
audits, while ensuring statutory compliance, promoting a robust safety culture, and
driving initiatives in energy conservation, sustainability, and environmental
compliance.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial
Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or
related discipline.
 Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
 Native speaking mandatory ( Malayalam)
Experience
 15-17 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a Production
Manager or equivalent leadership role.
 Experience in Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, Food Processing, Herbal
Extraction, Chemical, or Process Industries preferred.
 Experience managing multiple production lines and leading large production
teams.
 Hands-on exposure to SAP ERP and manufacturing excellence initiatives is
desirable.
