? We’re Hiring: Woven Fabric Designer & Textile Engineer
? Surat, Gujarat | Full-time | 2–5 Years Experience
At AMANTA FABRICS LLP, we develop premium woven fabrics for women’s ethnic wear, with a robust focus on Jacquard, Dobby and innovative fabric constructions.
We are looking for a creative yet technically strong Textile Engineer who can take a fabric concept from idea → construction → sampling → commercial production.
Your Role
- Develop new woven fabric constructions based on market and fashion trends.
- Work with Plain, Twill, Satin, Dobby & Jacquard structures.
- Prepare specifications including EPI, PPI, yarn count, reed, denting, GSM and consumption.
- Select suitable viscose, nylon, polyester and other yarns.
- Coordinate with weaving teams and troubleshoot loom & fabric-related issues.
- Develop and commercialize new fabrics on Airjet, Rapier, Dobby & Jacquard looms.
- Balance design, quality, production efficiency and cost.
We’re Looking For
? Textile Engineering / Textile Technology / Textile Design or equivalent.
? 2–5 years experience in woven fabric development or manufacturing.
? Experience with NedGraphics, Pointcarre, EAT, ScotWeave or similar software is an advantage.
Most importantly, you should have a strong understanding of weaving, yarns, fabric construction and fabric development—and a genuine interest in creating something new.
