About the Role
As an Opplane Network Engineer (Customer Success), you will partner with enterprise clients and telecom operators to support and maintain Mobile Private Networks (MPN). You will be the first line of support for the Opplane Anchor VNF. Your core responsibilities involve identifying and resolving network connectivity and stability challenges to guarantee reliable service. You will provide end-to-end customer support across deployments, troubleshooting, and incident management. Replicating specific customer use cases and problem scenarios within our solution lab will also be some of the responsibilities of a Network Support Engineer.

Requirements
Networking Fundamentals & CLI Experience
Routing & Switching – Solid understanding of core networking concepts including:
IPv4/IPv6 addressing
Subnetting
VLANs, L2VPNs
Routing Protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)
Tunnelling Technologies – Familiarity with tunnelling concepts such as GRE and VPN technologies.
CLI Proficiency – Proven hands-on experience using Cisco IOS or Juniper Junos Command Line Interface (CLI) to configure interfaces, verify routing tables, and troubleshoot network connectivity.
Linux System Administration
Comfortable working within Linux/Unix environments using the command line.
Ability to navigate directories, manage files, review system logs, and verify running services.
SNMP, Syslog, TACACS
Experience using Linux networking tools such as:
Ping
Traceroute
Ip / ifconfig
Netstat
Troubleshooting & Infrastructure
Packet Analysis – Familiarity with packet capture tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump.
