Job Description: Aveva Wonderware Developer – ENGIE India

Job Summary

The Aveva Wonderware Developer at ENGIE India is a key technical contributor within a dedicated feature team supporting the Global Hypervision Center (GHC) initiative.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining software solutions based on Aveva Wonderware System Platform, following specifications from the Product Owner and technical designs from the Wonderware Technical Lead.

The developer will ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with ENGIE’s global standards for renewable and flexible generation.

Main Objectives

Develop, configure, and support Wonderware solutions for the Global Hypervision Center, ensuring robust and reliable operation.
Implement software features and enhancements as specified by the Product Owner and Technical Lead.
Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and support project delivery.
Maintain compliance with ENGIE standards and contribute to the transition and handover of applications from the R&F; Digital⁢ team in France.





Key Responsibilities

Develop new Wonderware models and instantiate Wonderware objects.
Design and develop Wonderware OMI HMIs using Archestra Graphics.
Install and configure Wonderware software (System Platform, Historian, OMI, etc.).
Install and configure third-party industrial software for data collection (Gateways like Cogent, Matrikon, Kepware, etc.).
Analyze Wonderware logs and perform import/export of templates, instances, and graphics.
Support technical decision-making and participate in design and estimation meetings as needed.
Integrate into a dynamic, agile project setting and contribute to large-scale team efforts.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Wonderware System Platform development roles.
