Full-Time Furniture Product & Sales Trainer

Primary objective:
To train the sales team on furniture products, product knowledge, customer handling and consultative selling, with a strong focus on improving conversion and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strong product knowledge across furniture categories.
Train sales staff on materials, construction, finishes, dimensions, features and advantages.
Explain differences between solid wood, engineered wood, MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, upholstery, etc.
Train staff to confidently demonstrate products to customers.
Develop effective sales pitches and product presentations.
Train the team in customer needs analysis and consultative selling.
Improve enquiry-to-sale conversion and average bill value.
Train on cross-selling and up-selling.
Handle objections related to price, quality, delivery, warranty and competitors.




Conduct role plays, mock customer interactions and practical floor training.
Create product-training modules and assessments.
Conduct induction training for new sales employees.
Monitor training effectiveness through sales performance and customer feedback.
Work closely with the Sales and Product teams to identify knowledge gaps.
Ideal Candidate
5–15+ years of experience in furniture retail sales / furniture product training / consumer durables / interiors.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of furniture products and customer buying behaviour.
Proven ability to train frontline retail sales teams.
Should be energetic, practical and comfortable conducting training on the sales floor.
Experience with premium furniture or showroom-based retail would be an advantage.
