Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Lead Engineer to join Basys.ai. This role is ideal for a strong technical engineer who can take ownership of complex engineering problems, contribute to the architecture and development of our AI-powered healthcare platform, and help drive technical excellence across the engineering team.
As a Lead Engineer, you will work closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions that transform healthcare workflows.
Key Responsibilities1. Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers.
Drive engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
Translate product and business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Take ownership of key technical initiatives and deliverables.
2. Architecture and Design
Contribute to the architecture and design of Basys.ai's AI-powered healthcare platform.




Make technical decisions that support scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Design and implement APIs, services, and systems that can support rapidly growing product requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and engineering processes.
3. Software Development
Actively design, develop, test, and deploy production-quality software.
Work across the stack as needed, including backend, frontend, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive them to resolution.
Establish and maintain high standards for engineering quality and performance.
4. AI & Healthcare Technology
Collaborate with data science and AI teams to integrate machine learning and AI capabilities into production systems.
Work with healthcare data and workflows to build reliable and impactful solutions.
