Role Description This Human Resources Volunteer role is a remote, volunteer position supporting Aashraya’s growing community of volunteers and project leads. The volunteer will help coordinate onboarding processes, maintain volunteer records, and support communication between volunteers and project coordinators.



Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with HR documentation, sharing and updating HR guidelines, supporting the implementation of simple HR policies, and helping manage volunteer engagement and recognition initiatives. The role also involves answering volunteer queries, helping organize remote training or orientation sessions, and collaborating with core team members to ensure a positive and inclusive volunteer experience.
Qualifications

Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with an interest in applying them in a volunteer-driven, social impact workplace.
Ability to support HR Management and Personnel Management activities, such as coordinating onboarding and maintaining volunteer-related records.
Understanding of Employee Benefits or volunteer benefits concepts and the ability to help communicate them clearly to community members.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
