Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based at the SOOTI Textiles facility in Kolkata. The Fashion Designer will create and develop men’s casual wear collections, including trousers, joggers, shorts, Bermudas, and polos,



aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and market trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching designs, selecting fabrics and trims, developing mood boards, and collaborating with the product development and production teams to translate concepts into finished garments. The role involves working closely with pattern makers and sampling units to ensure accurate fittings, quality construction, and cost-effective manufacturing. The Fashion Designer will also review prototypes, participate in design approvals, and provide input on embroidery placement, textile usage, and finishing details to maintain SOOTI’s standards of comfort, durability, and contemporary style.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to conceptualize and develop men’s casual wear collections.
