Strong experience in US Payment Gateway and Payment Processing domain
Deep understanding of the complete US payment transaction lifecycle
Experience with:
Payment Authorization
Capture
Settlement
Refunds
Voids
Chargebacks
Recurring Payments
Tokenization
Fraud Management
Knowledge of payment ecosystem involving:
Payment Gateways
Payment Processors
Card Networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
Acquiring Banks
Merchants
Experience gathering and translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Strong stakeholder management across Business, Engineering, QA, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams
Agile/Scrum methodology with experience in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives
Experience working with API-based payment integrations
Robust Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering skills
Knowledge of Authentication, Authorization, Compliance,



and Risk Management in payment systems
Ability to work closely with Engineering teams throughout the SDLC
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Payment Gateway Platform Migration/Modernization
Legacy platform decommissioning
Feature parity analysis and phased migration planning
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Experience with cloud-native payment platforms
API strategy and integration design
Experience integrating with third-party payment providers and merchant platforms
Understanding of PCI-DSS, payment security standards, and fraud prevention technologies
Exposure to payment processor and acquiring bank integrations
