Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strong US Tax Manager to lead complex US tax engagements, manage client relationships, and oversee a team of tax professionals supporting US-based CPA firms and their clients. The ideal candidate should have strong federal and state tax expertise, complex-return experience, leadership capabilities, and an AI-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead US tax preparation, review, compliance, and delivery for US-based CPA firms and their clients.
• Manage, mentor, and review the work of tax preparers, seniors, associates, and reviewers.
• Review federal and state returns, complex tax engagements, workpapers, supporting schedules, K-1s, basis,
depreciation, and tax adjustments.
• Act as a key client contact,



resolve technical issues, and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Manage workflows and deadlines while driving quality, process improvement, automation, and AI adoption.
• Handle escalations and collaborate with US CPA firms and internal leadership.

Must Have

• CA, EA, or Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 -10 years of relevant experience in US taxation, preferably with US CPA firms or US tax clients.
• Robust US federal and state tax knowledge with hands-on experience with Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120
S, including complex returns.
• Experience with complex individual and business returns, including multi-state, partnership, S-Corporation, C
Corporation, real estate, K-1, basis, and depreciation matters.
• Proven client handling, team management, leadership, and technical review experience.
