About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage the entire scrap operations at our manufacturing plants in Tarapur. This is a critical role that demands deep expertise in scrap handling within the steel industry, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, compliance, and revenue optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end scrap management processes across plant locations
Manage scrap yard operations including segregation, storage, and logistics
Drive scrap sales through effective channels including e-auctions and direct sales
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to scrap handling
Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to streamline scrap flow




Maintain accurate records and reporting for all scrap transactions
Implement best practices for scrap valuation and inventory control
Candidate Requirements
Mandatory: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in scrap management within the steel industry
Proven track record in handling large-scale scrap operations
Expertise in scrap sales, e-auctions, and yard management
Solid analytical and negotiation skills
Willingness to relocate to Tarapur
Excellent leadership and communication abilities
