Sales Executive – TMT Bars

Job Description

BuilditIndia is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive – TMT Bars to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales, preferably in the building materials industry, with a good understanding of TMT bars, steel products, and the construction market.

The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing customer relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive sales of TMT bars across the assigned territory.
* Identify and develop new customers, including builders, developers, contractors, dealers, and other construction industry stakeholders.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
* Generate leads, conduct regular customer visits, and convert opportunities into orders.
* Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads and quotations.
* Achieve monthly, quarterly,



and annual sales and revenue targets.
* Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product and commercial solutions.
* Track competitor activity, market prices, demand trends, and customer feedback.
* Share market intelligence and sales updates with the management team.
* Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, order processing, dispatch, collections, and customer service.
* Ensure timely payment follow-ups and support healthy receivables.
* Maintain accurate customer and sales records and submit regular sales reports.
* Participate in industry meetings, customer events, and networking activities.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
* 1–2 years of sales experience preferred, particularly in TMT, steel, cement, construction materials, or related industries.
