Role Description The SEO-AEO Intern role is an internship position based in Udaipur with a hybrid work model, allowing some work from home. In this role, the intern will assist in optimizing ShareChess’s website and content for search engines and answer engines, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and metadata improvements. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring traffic and engagement metrics, supporting content updates, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to improve discoverability of chess resources.



The intern will also help identify SEO/AEO opportunities, track rankings, and contribute ideas to enhance user reach and organic growth.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and basic analytics.
Interest in answer engine optimization (AEO), structured data, and improving content for voice and conversational search.
Ability to work with content and marketing teams to align optimization efforts with user needs and business goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage tasks in a hybrid work setting.
