Kensho, S&P; Global’s hub for AI innovation and transformation, is hiring a Senior ML Engineer to help build production-grade GenAI and machine learning systems. The role focuses on scalable, reliable, and transparent ML solutions for S&P; data and AI products.

Experience

3+ years of hands-on industry experience in machine learning, NLP, and information retrieval systems
Experience designing, shipping, and maintaining production systems
Strong proficiency in Python
Experience reading and understanding SQL databases and writing queries for specific access patterns




Experience building ML pipelines for data processing, training, inference, maintenance, evaluation, versioning, and experimentation
Demonstrated coding, documentation, collaboration, and communication habits
Robust problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Experience with LLM orchestration libraries or frameworks such as LangChain

Qualification

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

Develop, refine, and deploy machine learning systems that solve complex business problems and power Kensho products
Design retrieval-driven AI agents that fetch, validate, and structure data from S&P; datasets
Ground LLM outputs in trusted S&P; data
Identify and resolve performance gaps in online and offline settings
Work with proprietary structured and unstructured datasets
Develop domain understanding and work with Subject Matter Experts
Optimize and scale ML systems for high
