Role Description

The Merchandiser at Aires will be responsible for planning, selecting, and displaying footwear assortments to maximize sales and brand impact in retail locations. This full time, on-site role based in Delhi, India involves analyzing sales data, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with store teams to ensure product availability and visual consistency. The Merchandiser will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product presentation with promotional campaigns and seasonal launches.



Daily tasks include reviewing product performance, updating planograms, training store staff on key product features, and maintaining a strong understanding of customer preferences and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

Plan seasonal product ranges across sports apparel and footwear categories.
Develop merchandise plans based on sales targets, consumer demand, market trends and brand positioning.
Analyse sales, stock levels, sell-through, margins and product performance.
Recommend replenishment, markdowns, stock transfers and discontinuation of slow-moving products.
Determine product mix, colourways, size ratios, pricing architecture and launch quantities.
Monitor inventory to reduce stock-outs, overstocking and ageing inventory.
Coordinate with design and product development teams to ensure collections are commercially viable.
